Administration: Office of the Director General of Audit (Central Expenditure) is the Cadre Controller for all the three offices viz. O/o the Director General of Audit (Central Expenditure), O/o the Director General of Audit (Central Receipt) and O/o the Principal Accountant General (Audit) Delhi and thus, is responsible for inter-office transfer/posting of the staff between the said three offices.

Besides, Administration is divided into two sections:

Administration-I:
Deals with Recruitment, Promotion, Posting & Transfer of Group 'B' (Gazetted) Officers, Preparation of Budget estimates, Preparation of Gradation List, Finalisation of Pension cases of staff posted in DGA(CE) office and Right to Information (RTI) matters.

Administration-II
Deals with Recruitment, Promotion, Posting & Transfer of Gr. 'B' (non-Gazetted) and Gr. 'C' officials, Govt. Accommodation, CGHS and Cases of Modified Assured Career Progression (MACP) Scheme.

Establishment

Establishment Section mainly deals with maintenance of Service Books of all employees of this office, preparation of bills for different kinds of expenses of the office and all kinds of travelling allowances. It also deals with LTC and pay fixation of employees. It is important to mention that as per Headquarters’ instructions, besides e-payment system, during the year 2014-15, all kinds of bills are being passed through a programme “BEMS” developed by NIC and sent to PAO for arranging payment.

Office Hours
The hours of attendance on all working days are as follow:-

Working hours : 9 a.m. to 5.30 p.m.
Lunch interval : 1 p.m. to 1.30 p.m.
